Asleep they stay in the Midday Parade
Theme: Sleepers
Asleep they stay in the midday parade,
as they lay on a street, that the marching drum plays,
beat by beat they make with their feet.
Still asleep they all stay...
And when the speaker rolls around,
singing it's thesis,
taking away any of those, who's sleep is in pieces,
in peace they stay, asleep and at bay,
on the sides of the midday parade.
On the next day, asleep they remain,
tho engines now roam along the drums that had played.
Those that awake are taken away,
and those asleep, see the next day...
wings that scream, and blood and steel
play the parade for those remaining at bay.
Fewer and fewer those who have stayed...
Asleep in the horrors of the midday parade.
